The Property
At the center of BeauBassin Farm & Gardens is the historic Alexis LaTour home, built in 1835 in Ville Platte and later moved to its present setting in St. Landry Parish.
Today, the property serves as a hospitality and event destination, bringing together historic architecture, gardens, gathering spaces, and new work designed to support what the property is becoming.
The Mahoney Group first came to BeauBassin for one very specific reason: to install a wooden roll-up door in one of the buildings.
It wasn't a pitch for the larger project. It wasn't a presentation about what Mahoney could do.
It was simply an opportunity to do one job well.
Trust
They did what they said they would do, did it well, and did it quickly. Kenny noticed.
The roll-up door led to another item on the punch list. Then another.
As Kenny saw the quality of the work, the pace of the team, and the way Mahoney communicated, the scope of the relationship began to grow.
The larger opportunity wasn't won with a sales pitch.It was earned by doing the work.
The Relationship
It wasn't long before Kenny asked The Mahoney Group to step into a much larger role as contractor for the project.
Mark Mahoney and Anthony Reale began working with Kenny to formulate a plan for moving his larger vision for BeauBassin forward.
The project required more than simply checking items off a list. It meant understanding Kenny's larger vision, coordinating an evolving scope, solving problems as they surfaced, and keeping the work moving.
